Just a query for anyone out there. Has anyone tried to use WebSphere MQ client on Linux with PKCS #11 certs or on any flavour of UNIX/Linux?
We have got a solution working using the PKCS #12 certs. We are connecting to a z/OS queue manager using the client software. We had major difficulties getting the PKCS #12 solution working as we were getting major problems with the GSKit and our version of Linux (Suse 8.1).
Ibm had to write a new version of JRE2 for us. Now that we have proved that works we are looking to utilise a PKCS #11 solution and would be interested in hearing from anyone who might have tried it or is using it successfully.
