Hi,
Thanks for all your contributions. I am still struggling into this.
BTW, can anyone tell me why MQSeries doesn't take password for validating? Or this is the case only for Java?

Thanks,
Siva

Hi,

Actually, I'm working on a project that will supply both client-side & server-side security exits to do just what you want (UserID & password validation).

If you would like to be a beta tester then drop me a line. The initial release will support the server-side security exit located on Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris & HP-UX.

Regards,
Roger Lacroix

Hi Roger,
I would be happy to be part of that. Presently I have access to Win2000 and in future I might work on Unix(Solaris).

I am requesting again, Can anyone tell me why MQSeries doesn't take password for validating?
I need to document the reason, if this doesn't work for me;)

Thanks,
Siva

Basically, it is not part of the design of the base product.
