Running in a clustered environment with 16 queue managers in a cluster on solaris.

qm.ini contains
Channels:
AdoptNewMCA=ALL
AdoptNewMCATimeout=60
AdoptNewMCACheck=ALL
PipeLineLength=2
MaxChannels=10000
MaxActiveChannels=10000
TCP:
KeepAlive=yes

when the HBINT is set to 10 seconds or less we notice that over a period of time the amqrmppa process goes crazy on all of the machines and we end up running out of processes.

In fact it get hard to log on to the box and usually the boxes die. The last box i looked at had over 700 amqrmppa processes on it. When we run with a higher HBINT we only have one amqrmppa process.

Im thinking it is something to do with the cluster exit that is preventing the old channels clearing up.

HAs anyone else experienced this.
