Hi all,
I need help is validating some information, that I am having trouble understanding. I am an entry level mq admin and not a programmer.
The issue is this.
There is a mq series server (Solaris 9, mq 5.3 csd 07) that has a svrconn channel (SSLCHANNEL) defined with following attribute SSLCIPH(TRIPLE_DES_SHA_US). I have also used the ikeyman utility to setup SSL certificates.
Question 1: Is the above all that needs to be done to setup SSL on the server side for the SVRCONN channel?
On the mq client side: (Solaris 8, mq 5.3 client install w/ SSL support) We do not want to authenticate the client that is why the server channel definition has left the parameter SSLCAUTH(OPTIONAL)
I do not know what needs to be setup on client side.
Question 2: How do I connect to the queue manager via svrconn channel and make sure that it used SSL?
Question 3: Does the mq client also need a key repository?
