Hello,

I wonder if it is worth configuring the user access on the MQ server side (like object privileges) in case of using SSL secured channel and JMS client?

Why not?
You should set the previleges.
Because using SSL all you are trying to do is make your channel secured. Once you connect to the queue manager, your MQ objects are open to anybody.
