All,
Ok, this is a strange question, but what magazines, journals, etc.. do MQ Admins read? I got asked that questions and I couldn't come up with a answer. (I tend to read developer / architect type magazines rather than admin stuff. i.e. JDJ, SD Times, etc...)
i.e.
If a company had a MQ product specific for MQ Admins (rather than developers or QA Testers) what magazines, journals, etc... should they advertise in to reach those fine people?
Please post your thoughts.
Regards,
Roger Lacroix |

I read these boards and MQManuals, oh and I have a subscription to PC Magazine, American Rifleman and North American Hunter. _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial. |

am same as smithy
tbh there isnt a lot out there for specifics unless you are on a mailing list from IBM or affiliates on MQ
like Roger I read some specific magazines but apart from keeping me up to speed on matters beyond the mq field not a lot else
also read and devour any car magazines out there |

Yep me too, I find this by far the best Forum to read for MQ adminstration etc, as it covers virtually every thing i need and what i don't undertand somebody always answers my question.

MQ Update technical journal from Xephon is worth reading
www.xephon.com/mq
Xephon does not accept paid advertising but they do print MQ related product news information on the back page each month. |

I really should be reading something like Information Week or whatever passes for "CIO/CTO buzzword central" these days. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

For technical reading, I stick with mqseries.net (what a great site!) and the occasional redbook.
For pleasure reading, there is nothing like science fiction. |
