This probably has been discussed before, but I thought I would share something I ran across in the MQSC manual.

I've used this command before but what I noticed (and this is very helpful to me).

DISPLAY QSTATUS(QUEUE.NAME) TYPE(HANDLE) ALL

On Windows boxes it shows the PID that has hold of the queue and on zSeries it shows what TASK# in CICS that has the queue open.

I've seen the TYPE(QUEUE) that shows IPPROCS & OPPROCS, but not what task has it.

Now I can....like I mentioned this might be old news, but I thought it was worth-while to share.
