Hi,
I am facing a problem in performing MQ Transaction when MQ QueueManager is forcibly restarted.
My application MQ Transaction contains one MQ PUT and one database update.
I am testing my application code whether this MQ Transaction is happening or not.
I am commiting the database transaction first and then i am comiting the MQ PUT. ( in consecutive statements)
My service is performing the MQ Transactions, I forcibly shutdowing the QueueManager
In my application log it is showing MQ PUT was commited.
In the code the log statement is there after the MQ commit statement
After starting my queueManager , messages are not found in the MQ QUEUE
Please advise. _________________ -----

Did you confirm the queue depth before shutting down ???
I agree with siliconfish about the message persistence.
I would confirm that the application is making them persistent,
MQSeries does not loose messages that easily. _________________ Jeff
