Hi,
I have a CWF message with a date field (xsd:date) with physical format=yyyyMMdd. When i sent spaces (8 spaces), the logical message tree shows the date field with value "1970-01-01". The Strict DateTime option is checked.
I am expecting MRM parser to throw an exception error. Or if the nillable option is checked, the date field will be null.
Anyone encounter this too?? Or i maybe have not set the correct phyiscal properties for that date field.
I am on WBIMBv5 CSD03. Thanks. |

Broker is defaulting the value for your date field. This happens when any part of a datetime object is not present on input. This is documented in Message Model Reference manual. _________________ Kiran

This is actually a defect I raised with IBM.
The problem occurs if there is an erroneous character in the first character.
Ask IBM to send you efix IC41402.WBIMB500.FP04.WIN.ZIP.
Regards
