Hi,
I am trying to start an SSL enabled channel on an aix machine 5.2.0.0, wmq 5.3, csd07 and i get the error: 'Attempt to load GSKitSSL or procedure amqccgsk_r failed with error code 536895861'.
WebSphere MQ hard codes the path to the GSKit libraries so that
customers do not have to alter the LIBPATH on their machines in
order to use GSKit/SSL. This means that customers must not
alter the location into which GSKit is installed. This APAR is
being created to document this APAR has been created to
document this in the Quick Beginnings Guide.
Have you loaded GSKit into a directory other than the default install directory?

Hi,
I reinstalled CSD07 and that sorted the problem. I managed to create the kdb file and the password stash file. when i start the channel i get the error:'password stash file unusable'. i recreated the kdb file both from gsk6ikm and gsk6cmd but i stll get the same error. the two files are in the same directory and the SSLKEYR attribute of the q manager has the correct path specified in it.
