What is the difference between dspmqcap and dspmqccap?

Is the second one for client?

Is there any limit for MQ Clients to a queue manager?

Well I don't believe so but there are limits to the amount of activity you can have on an MQManager. For example if you don't define the MaxChannelsActive in your qm.ini file the default number of Channels that can be running at any given time is 200.

One of mine is set MaxChannelsActive = 2000. In peak usage periods I will have close to 1500 channels running and that MQManager services 19 Clients ranging from WebSphere 4.0.6 to 5.0 some using JMS some not, Weblogic, VisualBasic/Activex, Java.

PS: Why did post this new question under an existing thread?

My Bad. I should have been more clear with my question...
I was thinking that if there was no limit for the number of MQ Clients then that would
eliminate what Vennela was thinking (Is the second one for client?). That was the first
think popped up in my mind, hence my question.

I am sorry if my question is misleading...
Apologies to Vennela...

dspmqccap is for the Extended Transactional Client, which is licensed in much teh same way as a server
