can i copy the mmc file of the mq box onto a different pc that has mq installed and do work on the queues of the original box??? and how to setup??

I dont think it will work. You need to add the queue manager from Box1 to your workspace on Box2.

actually its been done, i am able to open a mmc file thats on a box that just has mq installed and it opens the queue manager of the other box and i can clear messages on queues etc... but i don't know how he did it.

"Show Queue Manager"->"Remote Queue Manager".

The MMC should be documented in the Help for it.
