After having installed a new 3.5 config, I exported my users from Buildtime 3.4 in order to import them back in Buildtime 3.5.
Then, I exported them from buildtime 3.5 to runtime 3.5.
Every user gets the message incorrect password at logon.
If I correct the password manually in buildtime 3.5 and then transfer the user into runtime 3.5, It works fine.
Do you have a solution to avoid reinitializing every password ? |

Thanks for your help Venela, but there is no problem of that kind.
Anyway, default system and group are used while importing into buildtime if given values do not exist.
Another suggestion ? |

It is my opinion that Vennala has the right solution to your problem.
The thing you must check is the following:
SYSTEM and SYSGROUP names for 3.4
SYSTEM and SYSGROUP names for 3.5
IF they are NOT identical, the passwords will not import. The password encryption is based on these Names. _________________ John McDonald
