from the Tool kit ....select the msg flow and msg set....and hit del button ...u will get two options....delete with contents.or delete from toolkit..
choose the delete with contents...

or

the .project is a local respository in ur hard drive...

go the installed dir of MB/eclipse then to workspace..u shud see ur msg flow and msg set project folders...delete them..and refresh ur toolkit view..or just restart the tool kit.

You will have a Remove at MessageFlow/Set level and Remove DeployChildren at Exec Group level or Broker level. You have to use those options.

I don't know how come that error is not coming now . I was just opening and closing the toolkit many times that's it.....somehow it stopped giving that error. Anyway thanx alot for the suggestion.

Now freshly i am migrating a new flow. But it gave an error saying:

BIP0868E Unable to correctly migrate a promoted property.

The migration command cannot locate the node hosting an overridden property.
A placeholder property was substituted to preserve the flow integrity.
Message flow name being migrated: xx
Promoted property name: QueueX20ManagerX20Name
Overridden property name: queueManagerName
After migration, from the WebSphere Studio, promote the property again.
ESQL code reuse has been enhanced significantly and is no longer promotable.
Refer to the ESQL programming guide for further information.

I know that promoted property is not supported in migration, but the thing is in the flow given, i don't see any promoted property. in 2.1 version, i opened the flow and tried find the property in the flow. I don't see any property as such. Is there any other way to find the promoted property

Thanks.

Removing from the directory helped in getting rid of the error but now new issue, when i see that in the directory of workspace, the folders of previously migrated flows and sets exist. I tried to remove them, but when i open the toolkit and close it they r created in the folder. Don't know how to remove them.

I see migrated flow and set folder in the directory of .plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.projects/ and the esql code files in the directory of .plugins/com.ibm.ettols.mft.esql.
Do i need to delete from this directory also when deleting in the workspacea directory???

When you add a message flow to the EG the message will go away.

Hi,

I have tried to deploy but it is giving error. I created a bar file and tried to deploy it to exe grp and i got this errror:

BIP1510E: Unable to deploy configuration data.

An attempt was made to deploy configuration data to one or more brokers, but the Configuration Manager is already deploying to broker TRANSFERS. You can not deploy to a set of brokers if there is an earlier deploy outstanding to any broker in the set. The deploy operation was not performed.

Wait for the outstanding deploy to complete before retrying the operation. The Event Log Editor may be used to check that all responses to the outstanding deploy have been received and processed. If the outstanding deploy does not fully complete in a suitable period of time, check that all brokers exist and are running, all WebSphere MQ queue managers are running, and that all channels between queue managers are started. Also check that deploy messages have been correctly delivered to the target brokers, and have not been put to the dead letter queue. Correct any problems you find. If it still does not complete, then cancel the deploy operation by specifying the 'Cancel' option in the Message Brokers Toolkit Note that 'Cancel' affects all outstanding deployment operations throughout the domain, so you may not have the authority to perform this.

I tried to deploy a message flow using RAD. But while doing it iam getting another error. Once the exe grp and is created and it starts publishing it gives a pop up window asking for username and passwd for security and if i give the userid and passwd, it denies login failed. i tried giving all ids but still it says login failed.

Any suggestion...

Thanks.

Hi,

It seems the Config mgr is deploying some others request... are you trying to deploy on your local broker or remote broker???

There is a very good book available @ http://publib-b.boulder.ibm.com/abstracts/sg246995.html?Open

It may help you...

Thanks,
Chandra.

To your original issue:

Most likely you were trying to delete the components from the Broker Administration perspective, where the delete option is not available (nor is the ability to delete via the delete key). Next time switch to the Broker Application Development view, where both delete options are available.
