I have a queue major UXQA01.QUEUE.MANAGER on Solaris which listens to an NT Box. It was working fine and all of a sudden my Queue manager got stopped . I checked the mqm/errors directory and saw a file named AMQ27747.0.FDC. Following is the content of this file.

I issued the "endmqm queue_managername" command to shut down the queue manager on Solaris box and I'm getting the following message.

Waiting for queue manager 'UXQA01.QUEUE.MANAGER' to end.

It is going for a while... Should I wait to get back the command prompt? or is there any other way to overcome this issue?

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1IY21665 indicates that a similar problem has been fixed in MQSeries 5.1 CSD9. You really need to move up from 5.1 to 5.3. 5.2 is no longer supported, and I can't remember when 5.1 went out of support.....
