How do I simulate 2009? I am getting 2162 when qmgr is shutdown while the application is connected.

Also, I am not getting any exception trapped in exceptionlistener when the network cable is unplugged. I would like the app to reconnect to qmgr when the network is broken

How long did you wait?
Did your app try an MQ call after the cable was pulled?

I did unplug and plug in immediately.

I am sorry. I tried it again now. It has thrown 2009.
