When I try to delete a user I get, cannot delete user, #### workitems are owned by user.
To get rid of the workitems, I am trying to transfer it to another user. But then I get an unauthorized error. Does anybody know of the rules to transfer a workitem, the programming guide is not very clear.
BTW I am using workflow v3.4.
Thanks in advance.

A person (User1) can only transfer workitems to (User2) whom he has the authorization of workitems of that person (User2). A person with Authorization of Workitems of All can do transfers between any persons.
Remember I have mentioned only two examples here, there are lot of different types of authorizations you could define. Hope that the experts here will look at this post and suggest us with all the rules for transfer or any documentation.
Try this:
If you could login as a user (User2) who has authorizations of workitems of User1 (the person you want to delete), do a transfer from User1 to User2.
Then try to delete User1.
Hope this helps. _________________ CHF |

Now I tried
When I login as user:ADMIN, then when I try to transfer an item owned by the user to be deleted to another user I get the following message:
FMC_ERROR_OWNER_ALREADY_ASSIGNED = 133
How can I get past this error. Again I could not find documentation regarding this error. Any pointer will be appreciated. |

This means that the workitems that the user owns are most likely already owned by other users... Simply Delete the workitems in this case _________________ John McDonald
