I have written a flaw message flow which jumps into an endless loop. As the flow is running and uses a lot of CPU time, I try to stop the flow via control center. However, it fails. I have to stop the broker in order to stop this message flow.
How can I stop a running message flow without stopping the whole broker ?
thanks |

You can try any of these,
1. Removing deployed copy of the message flow from Execution group.
2. Removing messages from your input queue. This will put message flow in a "wait" state.
3. Inhibit "Get messages" on input queue. (This will log event messages on NT/unix)

Thanks,
However I cannot start/stop the message flow as it is running inside a endless loop of compute node. I can only stop the flow by stopping the broker or killing the process of corresponding execution group.
What else can I do ?

Did you try to redeploy of force deploy your flow? If you force it, it may take a while, but it may reset the state of the execution group... Be sure to remove any messages on the input queue that could enter your infinite loop state before... |
