Must be a common problem. In MQSI 2.1, I need to check out Topology to define new broker but can't as it is locked by a user who has left the company and by a device that has been removed.

Is there a way of freeing this lock within the MQSICMDB tables ?

There's a super user account that can be created on the ConfigMgr, and will allow you to unlock any resource.

IBMMQSI2 - I think?

Belated thanks for your advice. Been so tied up of late with production problems on other matters that not had time to progress the superuser account solution. Will let you know how I get on.
