Hi,

I have to install latest version of message broker. Initially iam installing DB2 8.1 version which is giving a problem. I have uninstalled previous version and doing the latest version installation. I am doing under the id db2admin which is a member of administrator. I am getting an error of 1923. Service JDBC Applet server(DB2JDS) is unable to install. verify the sufficient privilages to install system services. What more privilages are required??Could anyone suggest. It is urgent.

The db2admin user might not have 'Act as a part of the Operating System' priviledge.

Or if it has it, it has not taken effect.

Log off, and log back in.
