I am getting a weired mqipt error when i am starting the mqipt:
"Unable to initialize threads: cannot find class java/lang/Thread"
I have installed the latest version of mqipt v1.3.2.0. When I tried to start the mqipt service or issueing mqiptVersion commands it gives the above error.
I have jdk1.4.2 installed and added jdk1.4.2/bin and jar paths in the mqiptEnv classpath parameter. mqipt calls classpath variable which is set in mqiptEnv, it don't care about what you set outside.
I opend PMR with ibm support, they have been working since yesterday no solution yet. i tried installing and uninstalling several times.
I know it used to have the same problem in the previous version of mqipt, there was resolution to give classes.zip path in mqiptEnv file along with bin and lib. but there is no classes.zip in the jdk1.4.2. If give the path of 1.1.8 classes.zip. mqipt gives major bad version problem.
Please, any one out here has had this problem and resolution, let me know. I would appreciate and thank u guys.
thanks

Please don't post the same question multiple times.
It doesn't get you the answer any quicker.
