Hi Sir/Madam,
In WMQI V2.1, under what kind of situation that the Neon is still required?
Is there some business requirement that still can not be met by WMQI V2.1?

There are a lot of business requirements that can't be met by WMQI/WBIMB.
That is why IBM sells more than one product... 
The MRM in version 2.1 and later is fully as powerful as the NEON formattting tools.
And less expensive.

Now there is WBIMB 5.0 which is more powerful. I guess, you should review your transformation requirements first and see which product suits you better.

| There are a few odd message modelling cases that NEON deals with, and MRM cannot. However, ESQL code can be written to get around these cases. NEON is a generation behind WBIMB, and I would not recommend using it unless you have legacy requirements. |

| When SAP IDOC messageset is being prepared, NEON is been used, as it is difficult to prepare a complex messageset. |
