Hi Kiran,
I certainly not an expert in using M071, but we do have it up and running on a few our our MQ team's workstations. It works very well and was pretty easy to setup, even for me, who is a major mainframe contact admin.
If you have some specific question I can try to help you out.
One thing is for sure, this is a very nice tool, and includes great documentation. The admin. functions are a little to easy to do things like delete queue etc. But with careful use, its really great, particularily if you nothing else.

Hi,
I've just downloaded M071 and it looks ideal for our operators to monitor MQ. I like the way you can set authorisation levels for users. I'm having problems getting it to connect to our MQ database though. I'm using a client connection and am getting 2035 errors - it will connect to a local database but not a remote - any ideas?

Hi Richard,
What platform is the remote Qmgr on? The 2035 is caused by some type of security issue that not allowing your workstation User Id to connect to to remote Qmgr.

Hi Jerry,
The remote platform is on AIX 5.2.
I just pointed my client to another channel on the same server and it worked.
Richard.
