Hi there,

I got a fundamental question about trigger messages and how I can work with them. I want to get the trigger message off the initiation queue everytime a trigger event occurs. I don't want to start a process - I just want to work with the trigger message!! Is there a way to do this?
I tried to use a dummy process so nothing wil happen if there is a trigger event but there appears to be no new (trigger) message on the initation queue!!

Why do you want to do this?

Really?

Programs that work with trigger messages are known as trigger monitors. There are sample trigger monitors available, that have source code.

Trigger messages are messages that follow a certain specific format. That format is described in the Application Programming Reference Guide.

But again, why do you want to do this? There is likely a better way!

thanks for reading it! I found it out 5 min. later. There must be no trigger monitor which leaves the trigger messages on the initation queue!!
