restarting Queue manager FMCQM

i stopped FMCQM and tried to restart it, but it says it cannot be restarted saying
process 2504 is still running
process 2496 is still running

please let me know how to restart the queue manager

Try stopping Workflow first.

That would really help. Next time you want to shutdown workflow queue manager stop workflow first.

You can kill those processes to restart the queue manager though.
