WBIMB5+CSD3, broker running on Win2k operating system.
My application DB is Microsoft SQLServer 2000. I have an XML Message which needs to be inserted in this database. I have installed Microsoft JDBC Type 4 Driver.
I am using DataInsert Node to do the inserts. But when I try to add the mappings between Source and then try to import the tables from Database, it doesn't give me any table name.
I believe, I have configured the DataInsert node correctly.
What may be the problem here?
I have set the following properties for adding Target in the DataInsert Mapping:
Import and add schemas from a database is selected.
Database Name: MyDB
User: sa
password: sa
Database Vendor Type: Microsoft SQL Server 2000
JDBC Driver: Other SQL Driver
JDBC Driver Class: com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver
Class Location: C:\Java\JDBC\lib\mssqlserver.jar
Connection URL: jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://localhost:1433;DatabaseName=MyDB
But when I click on 'Next', in Database Tables, nothing is displayed. _________________ Vivek

Kiran,
What do you mean by this? I have tried it using a Coompute Node (creating a DSN) and it works. It's only when I try to use DataInsert Node instead of Compute Node.
The question arises that, for DataInsert Node, there is a property 'Data Source' where we can give the DSN name.
But when I actually try to create mapping between the message and the database fields, it again asks me set these properties which I menstioned.
If it is required to set these properties as well as give the DSN name, what's the use?
Is there any way by which we can just use the DSN rather than setting these properties while adding target? _________________ Vivek
