Hello,
if i have defined for example two channels with different conname attribute
and the same xmit queue and the xmit queue is defined with triggering enabled, how can i define that on both channels triggering would run.
Its possible to use more than on trigdata attribute or must i define two
xmit queues?
Thanks for assistance

Hi,
You can NOT share the same XMITQ between different sender / server channels. You MUST define a unique XMITQ for each sender / server channel and then put the necessary TRIGDATA in the XMITQ's definition.
Remember you will also need to specify the INITQ, TRIGGER, and TRIGTYPE (FIRST) attributes of the XMITQ to successfully trigger a channel.

If you want to run 2 Channels, yes. If I remember correctly, the Channel MCA opens the XMITQ exclusively, so only one Channel can open it at once.
Also, if the Channels had different connames, how were you expecting MQ to know which channel a particular message was destined for once it was on the XMITQ.
