Hi,
We are currently having a problem getting the trigger monitor to trigger a batch file. Currently if we start a trigger monitor from the command line and then place a message on the queue, the triggering works fine.
When we start the trigger monitor from mq explorer, the process gets triggered but the batch file does not start.
Anyone know a reason why if the trigger monitor is started from command line instead of explorer, the batch file would start one way and not the other? |

As a WMQ service, it will run as user musr_mqadmin. The environment, e.g path, etc and permissions for this user could be different than for the user starting it from a command line.

Thank you for the input. I would assume however, that if the user is a member of mqm group then that would be solved? And we are a member of mqm, therefore i am thinking that that may not be the problem.
Thanks for the advice |

I hit the same problem on windows.
What is the trigger interval on the qmgr?
set it to 5 min (300,000) restart the qmgr for the change to take and retry.
Should work now from MQServices explorer.
