I can set up a trigger for a process to run on the same machine as the queue manager.
What if I want to kick off a non-MQrelated program via the trigger on an MQClient machine ?
Sorry to post this but I have searched this site..thought I saw mention of a support pac ? _________________ MQSI2 certified specialist

Hi,
you have to use a client trigger monitor, for example the one provided by MQ or a self written one.
Quote: |
Trigger monitor
The trigger monitor provided by non-z/OS WebSphere MQ products runs in the
client environments for Compaq OpenVMS Alpha, OS/2 Warp, UNIX systems,
Windows, Windows 3.1, and Windows 95. To run the trigger monitor, issue the
command:
runmqtmc [-m QMgrName ][-q InitQ ] |
For more informations look into the "Client" PDF documentation.
Greetings
