We get new messages in SYSTEM.CHANNEL.SYNCQ.

Why ? What should we do with them ?

(MQ5.3, CSD07, Linux)

Read the Intercommunications Manual. It tells you what these messages are and what to do with them.

Sorry, all I had found was:

"
Synchronization queue

DQM requires a queue for use with sequence numbers and logical units of work identifiers (LUWID). You must ensure that a queue is available with the name SYSTEM.CHANNEL.SYNCQ (see WebSphere MQ for z/OS Concepts and Planning Guide). This queue must be available otherwise the channel initiator cannot start.

Make sure that you define this queue using INDXTYPE(MSGID). This will improve the speed at which they can be accessed.

(WebSphere MQ Intercommunication, March 2003)

But that doesn't answer the question what I should do with that messages...

They should be left alone. MQSeries uses them to manage intercommunication between queue managers.

I would expect them to contain the status information you can see on channels when you display the channel status and you get current and saved information.
