Hi,
I'm using MQSI v2.0.1. Broker is sitting on Sun Solaris box. There was a change in static ip address and also hostname of NT box on which Control Center sits. I reconfigured the channels accordingly. But while deploying the flows, I’m getting the following error.
************************************************************
This message is generated at 2004-08-03 11:55:09
BIP2066E: Broker DEV1 (UUID c5a2cec4-e800-0000-xxxxxxxxxxx) unable to retrieve internal configuration response message for execution group Test.
The Execution Group did not respond in a timely manner. The internal configuration message response will be discarded if it arrives after this point.
Investigate why the Execution Group was unable to respond before being timed out. Use the system log messages to determine if there is a problem with the Execution Group. You should check that your system is not running short of resources, for example, you may need to increase the MQSeries log size. Reducing the complexity of the deploy by reducing the number of Execution Groups may also help to alleviate this problem. Correct the problem and redeploy the broker's configuration from the Control Center. Contact your IBM support center if you are unable to resolve the problem.
Do I need to change anything else when the hostname of the Control Center box changes?
Thanks,

When you issue the deploy command, make sure that the sender channel is starting.
It sound like the deploy message is not getting to the broker or the broker cannot send the response back to the NT box. |

Lisa,
I checked the sender channel before deploying. Sender Channel from NT box to Broker box is running.
Thanks,

What about Sender channel from Broker box to NT? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Jeff,
Both the sender channels are running. Looks like there is some other problem. As the hostname of the box is changed, I changed the hostname in Control Center's connection dialog box. Do I need to change anywhere else?
Both the channels between NT box and Broker (Solaris) box are running after reconfiguring them.
Thanks,
