Hello,
is it possible to run MQClient 5.3 and MQserver 5.2 simultaneously on a Sun Solaris machine.

I would not recommend such configuration.
1, MQ 5.2 is no longer supported.
2, Client should be in the same version, if not client should not be younger than server. 
If this question is about server to server version, I would say the functionality is limited by older version, 5.2. Technically, I don't see a problem (Disclaimer: I haven't tried this). But I would not suggest you doing it.

| On second thought, I don't think you can install this. You cannot have different versions of MQ on the same system. |
