Capitalware Inc. would like to announce the official release of MQ Visual Browse.
The MQ Visual Browse v1.2.2 application allows users to view messages in a queue of a WebSphere MQ (formally MQSeries) queue manager and presents the data in a simplified format similar to a database utility or spreadsheet program.
MQ Visual Browse is a great tool for application programmers, JMS developers, quality assurance testers, and production support personnel who do NOT need message editing capabilities. The tool allows for quick problem solving because the data is presented in a very logical and insightful manner.
Major Features:- Ability to open and display multiple queues from multiple queue managers.
- Export all or selected messages to a text file or multiple text files.
- Backup all or selected messages to a file. The backup includes both the MQMD and the data.
- Supports copying of message data to other desktop applications via clipboard.
- The user can view the message in a Hex Editor (also EBCDIC mode available)
- The user can view their messages in a XML tree (via the builtin XML Viewer)
- Support for well-known WMQ messages formats: MQMD, MQRFH, MQRFH2, MQCIH, MQDEAD, MQIIH and MQXMIT.
MQ Visual Browse will sell for $29.00 USD for a single user license. Volume pricing will be as follows:

All,
A bug was discovered this morning in the packaging of MQ Visual Browse with JRE as a Windows installer application . If you had problems when trying out MQ Visual Browse with JRE then please download it again and it should work.
Note: The other 2 downloads: zipped version and the windows installer version of MQ Visual Browse were fine.

All,
I made a minor update to MQ Visual Browse. The release now stands at v1.2.2A and here are the updates:- Fixed error handling in Backup & Export functions
- Increased the height for some popups when the user has DPI Setting of Large Size (120DPI).
- On Hexdata tab, in character data area, show a blank for low-value characters (less than 0x20)

- Added code to work-around the MS0B bug and added code to skip-over SYSTEM.AUTH.DATA.QUEUE queue for non mqm users.
