I don't remember installing java classes on my machine. I will double check. _________________ Kiran

Hi,
which MQ CSD did you install ?
If it is CSD 6 you have to install an additonal fix (APAR) to get your listener to run. You can find the fix at the csd download site.
By the way, the classes directory of the toolkit contains the mq jars.
Greetings

Well, good to see the thread grew so much.... Ha!
I attempted to install the MQ Client and was unable to. The message said to use the server CD. I installed everything to my knowledge when I installed using the MQ server CD. I then installed MQ 5.3 CSD 5.
I still can't get my Toolkit to talk to the QM. The toolkit is installed on the server.
I installed WBIM 5 with CSD 3.
I can talk to the QM using amqsput....
What do I need to do?

What error messages are listed in your Event Viewer?
You should check that the queue manager listener is running.
You should check (and double check) the security invovled - what user is running the tooling, what user is the configuration manager running as, what type of Domain security is involved, does your queue manager have the necessary permissions to authorize users in a domain environment, etc. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

It is given my a reason code of 2059 but my listener is running???
The user trying to run the toolkit is the same user who installed everything.
I look at the MQ Services and it shows everything up and running?
I don't see any errors in the event viewer. |

When you configured your domain connection, did you spell the queue manager name correctly, including case?
Did you specify the correct port number that your listener is listening to?
Is there a "details" screen on the error window that pops up to give you the 2059? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I could kill myself....
I had used a script to create the QM setup and didn't notice that I was using 1415 instead of 1414 for the port.
I can't believe I pulled that one off.
Sorry for wasting everyone's time.

When you have selected Pre-requisites after the CD is inserted, click the + sign on the Java (the last item on the list), you can install it right there. _________________ jkhaw |
