Have just installed WBI 5.0. ConfigMgr, Broker, Toolkit, and FP3 on same workstation. Get the following error in application event log when trying to deploy the GettingStartedMessageFlowProject from Toolkit:
Event ID: 8282
( ConfigMgr ) Error in call NetUserGetLocalGroups() to the NT security domain with return code 5.
All needed UserIDs appear to be in the local Administrator, mqm, and mqbrxxxx groups. |

Can you explain the commands you used to create Config Mgr and Broker. Is the service user-id beloning to mqb* groups?
Also, make sure your user-id under which the toolkit application is running is also a part of mqb* groups. _________________ Kiran

ConfigMgr and Broker were created with the Configuration wizard.
Service ID is in all mqb*, mqm, and Administrators groups.
UserID Toolkit is launched from is in all mqb* groups. |

Is your user-id local to the machine or is it a Domain user-id? Did you select/specify "Security Domain" option in the wizard? _________________ Kiran

All IDs are local to the box.
I did not specify a "Security Domain". |

Before you begin the installation:
1. Create the following local groups on your machine:
mqbrkrs
mqbrasgn
mqbrdevt
mqbrops
mqbrtpic
2. If you plan to use WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker within a domain environment but are not running with domain awareness enabled, check that the global group Domain mqbrkrs exists. If necessary, create the global group. For more information about creating local and global groups, refer to your Version 2.1 documentation. If you are running domain awareness disabled you must also create the global groups Domain mqbrasgn, mqbrdevt, mqbrops, and mqbrtpic if they do not already exist.
3. Add your installation user ID, which must have Administrator authority, to the mqbrkrs local group

Are these three activities complete? _________________ Kiran
