Hey all somtime ago i was having major probs with getting WBI 5 running on my xp pro platform on my laptop and asked for help here saw a load of stuff on socket errors and csd packs etc and i started a thread under my sign on (Growler[url]) http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8626&highlight=[/url]

Anyway as i cant seem to login under that ID (don't know why) I thought I would let you all know the outcome.

It comes down to the fact that ther version of software for both MQ 5.3 and the WBI was corrupted in such a way that no matter waht csd was applied it still did not work.

I subsequently ended up on a site where initial design and development was carried out on my laptop prior to gaining access to a machine on the client network, anyway i managed to get hold of some cds and it now works perfectly I AM A HAPPY BUNNY NOW!!!!!!

just to let you all know thanks to Venny and all others who suggested various solutions etc and I was v grateful
