Hi,

I have a question regarding field path in message sets. In version 21 you could import a out message set to a compute node and drag the field into the esql code.
How can I do the same in version 50?

I am making a fixed length format into a XML message and use substring operation to find the data that should be put into the outbound message.

I think what you want is a mapping node.

In V5 the compute node was split into to two nodes.
Compute - ESQL only
Mapping - Drag drop mappings

Jakob,

If you want to do it in a compute node you could reference the message set project from the project containing the message flow. Then using CONTROL + ENTER will help you finding the correct path to the fields.

Jakob,

- Right click on the project that contains the message flow -> properties -> Project References
- Then you select the project containing the message set.
