Location: Atlanta GA.

Looking to upgrade from 2.2.1.1 to 5.1, primarily for cluster failover purposes, in an OpenVMS 7.3-1 clustered environment that exchanges data with Solaris and AS400 systems. Any information that could be used would be appreciated -- especially dealing with loading 5.1 onto one cluster member while continuing to run 2.2 on another node -- that share a common system disk??

I don't know specifically on OVMS, but the general recommendation or suggestion is to use the same version in a cluster. Check out the WMQ Cluster document and you will find that statement somewher in there.
