Hello,
I am looking in the Application Programming Reference for information on the MQ File Transfer Process which might be something that could replace a current design I have using MQ Grouping. However, the manual doesn't say too much about the MQ File Transfer process. Does anyone know where I could find information regarding this?
Thanks,
Barry |

The Reference Message Sample programs in the Application Programming Guide might be relevant. |

From reading the examples in the Application Programming Reference, it still sounds like MQ File Transfer is very similar to the Message Grouping/Segmentation functionality. We have a process that scans an image, converts it into an XML zip file which is then put on a message queue to be sent to another platform for processing. There can be up to 25 of these messages within a group before the commit occurs. Once the 'batch' is completed, the commit occurs and all messages in the group are sent across. I had recommended that this grouping should be done on the backend system to avoid MQ grouping usage. Any thoughts on this option??? Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
