Hi,

- this documentation was wrtitten six years ago
- no new edition since 1998!

can we use all the info defined in it as a sure guide to set up a backup procedure for mqs 5.3?

are't there new considerations concerning 5.3 version?

No new edition and I'm not sure that one is in the works. You could always send an email to redbooks@us.ibm.com and make a request for an update.
