All,

The Eclipse Foundation has released version 3.0 of Eclipse. Eclipse could be described as:
Quote:
Eclipse is a kind of universal tool platform - an open free extensible IDE for anything and nothing in particular. The Eclipse IDE provides an excellent Java source code editor and debugger.

There are other plugins for Eclipse that provide full featured development in the following languages: Eclipse has come along way since the beginning. I have been using it for the last 2 years, and I think it is the best thing since sliced bread.

For those who don't know, in v6 of WMQ, MQ Explorer will be a plugin to the Eclipse framework.

Regards,
Roger Lacroix

Hi Jeff,

What do you mean? Are you asking me if I will be creating Eclipse plugins? I have been thinking about it.

Yes, that's what I was asking.

I haven't used Eclipse but I have been working with Idea for some time now. Has anyone used both products and could possibly supply a comparison between them?
