Hello,
I am stumped by the problem of MQ Extended Transactional Client's lack of support for MTS. I've thought of a work around to this problem, but it probably isn't possible... Please tell me if this workaround is possible.
The MQ Extended Transactional Client works with the TXSeries CICS Transaction Manager. However, all our applications currently use the Microsoft Transaction Manager.
Does anyone know if it's possible to use both the TXSeries CICS and the Microsoft Transaction managers to coordinate the same transaction? If this is possible, we could continue a transaction using the TXSeries CICS Transaction Manager where the transaction was started with the Microsoft Transaction manager.
This probably isn't possible, but I thought it was worth a shot
Thanks,

Well, you can use only one as Transaction Manager. Another can act as Resource Manager, which participate in Global Unit of Work. _________________ Kiran

Hmmm... That's interesting, Kirani. How could I use the TXSeries CICS as a Resource Manager? Could you point me to a resource that elaborates on this issue?
Thanks a lot!
