Hi,
This might sound silly...

Is it possible to configure multiple QMgrs on the same port say 1414.
I have 3 QMgrs on the same machine ...Do I need to configure them to listen on different ports or a single port will help my cause.

The network policy restricts opening multiple ports ...but if it is an absolute must that each queue manager needs its own port for intercommunication with queue managers on other machines across the network...I can put my request with some solid supportive answer to the network team.

thanks in advance.

Yes, you need different ports for different queue managers.

You need different ports for each queue manager that needs to be on the same IP address.

If you have three IP addresses on one machine, you can have three queue managers listening to port 1414 on that machine.
