Hi,
We are trying to create a oracle switch file for XA transaction support on AIX.
Below is the error we get when we issue the make command.
$ make oracle
xlc -e MQStart -b expall -L/usr/java130/jre/bin -L/usr/java130/jre/bin/classic -ljvm -ljava -L/oracle/BWD/920_64/lib -lclntsh -o jdbcora jdbcora.o
ld: 0711-317 ERROR: Undefined symbol: xaosw
ld: 0711-345 Use the -bloadmap or -bnoquiet option to obtain more information.
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 8.
We are using MQSeries 5.3.
As usual, any inputs are appreciated.
My experience is Solaris/Oracle. I recently have set up Oracle/MQ for DB co-ordination for 2 phase commit.
Creating a switch file is very straight forward (atleast in solaris). Go the directory xatm. It contans the C files. Modify the make file to uncomment for the oracle version you are using. Then execute to get the oraswit.
include oraswit in the qm.ini file under the resource manger stanza. _________________ K. OMPRAKASH
