Hey all

I'm trying to use the supportpac MO71 (MQMon) to connect to a SVRCONN channel with SSL security.

When connecting I get an error saying:

Code:

Error connecting via client to 'QM1' RC(2393) SSL initialisaion error

MQMon has the following configuration for the client connection:
SSL Cipher Spec: NULL_SHA
SSL Key Reposiory: C:\key (the file is named c:\key.sto)

I have tested connecting to the SVRCONN channel from Java (both JMS and MQBASE) clients (using a keystore) and that works wonderful. I have also tested the MQ key repository file (c:\key.sto) by using it from a different queue manager and it works for QM to QM connections. MQMon can connect to the channel if SSL is disabled.

I found the thread at http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7870 which deals with a similar problem but the thread doesn't contain any solution.

Has anyone been successful in getting MQMon to work with SSL?
