NNSY Rules is supposed to have 2 system created Application Groups, NNSYRF_OUTPUT_CONTROL and NNSYRF_FORMATTER. When I access the NNSY Rules GUI to view all application groups, these 2 are not listed. Is this normal? .. Are they not suposed to be visible and only the user created App Groups can be seen? Or does this mean that I don't have them created and cannot access their functionality?
I'd appreciate any input on this.
Thanks very much.

Mike,
those groups are only accesible when you use 'jump to rules' from the formatter gui. I think the idea behind it was to 'hide' this from 'normal' rules processing... _________________ Michael

Can anybody tell me what is NNSY stands for?
I'm assuming may be NNSY refer to Neon Sybase databases. Is it correct? |

I think it's an abbreviation of NEONSoft/Sybase. It used to be called NEON, which stood for New Era Of Networks. _________________ -Mike. |

I got a problem and stuck with it. When I click 'jump to rules' from the formatter gui, i get this error message "[-2622] invalid rules management object passed in". NEON rule management console gets loaded, but i cannot view the NNSYRF_OUTPUT_CONTROL application group.
I could see all the rules that i have created when I open Neon rules. Can someone give shed some light on this |

It is generally considered bad practice to re-open an old flow as you have done.
The preferred method is to open a new thread and use a link to the old one. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
