Hi,

To work with VB .Net and MQSeries I have instaled recently MQSeries V5.3 CDS06 in my PC.

When I try to work in my VB .Net program apears de following error:

“A first chance exception of type 'System.IO.FileNotFoundException' occurred in amqmdnet.dll

Additional information: File or assembly name System.EnterpriseServices, or one of its dependencies, was not found.”

The version amqmdnet.dll is 1.0.0.3.

I verified the gacutil and the dll was there.

I remove the dll from .Net and cath it again in the references, but the error persists.

Does anyone have ideia off some possible solutions ?

You are running the 1.0.* framework. Update to the 1.1.* framework which is the only supported one (Not the docs are (were) wrong in that they incorrectly state 1.0 works).

Code was also added to fixpack 6 to tollerate a framework 1.0, but it is an untested and unsupported environment...
