I am working on cluster environment,I had deleted a Cluster QMgr on one of the system group and created a new QMgr for that cluster,I can see the
one that I deleted in the MQExplorer,It's disabled but I can see that. It's look odd to me,What should I do to remove it completely so that I can't see the disabled qmgr on MQExplorer.
Thanks in advance. |

One other thing is, if you delete the queue manager from within MQExplorer, then you wont see it anymore, i believe. But if you delete it from say a dos prompt(since you did not mention platform, assumption here is windows), then MQExplorer does not pick that up.
Try a reboot as the last option and see if it makes any diff. But again, what difference does it make if it is there or not. It is inaccessible anyways. :)
Cheers

Right click on Queue Managers, and select Hide Queue Manager.

There is no option to hide the QMgrs in the cluster queuemanagers. When i am looking into the cluster group i can still see the deleted queuemangers in unactive state. |

I once had a similar kind of problem with mqsidelete......
I deleted a broker was still able to see the broker when I display using mqsilist..
I had to delete the broker from the system registry to get rid of it....
Can I request the experts here to comment on getting rid of this problem by deleting the queue manager from the registry ?..... |

Did you remove the QMGR from the cluster first? I found that this can be important. Something else is to delete the QMGR again. Then check your Qmgrs folder to see if the QMGR was really deleted or not. When you delete the QMGR, it is supposed to remove the QMGR folder within the Qmgrs folder. Sometimes it does not do this successfully on the first try and you have to repeat it through the MQ Explorer (sometimes, several times). Or, alternatively, you can delete the QMGR folder and then relaunch MQ Explorer. Then it should not be there anymore. |
