Doe your user id have the role of Operational domain controller ?

Using the Control Center manual:
Quote:
Operational domain controller
In this role, you can: Create brokers and collectives, and define the relationships between them (the topology). It can also deploy all types of data, and monitor the operational broker domain.

Have you seen this posting: http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15398&highlight=create+broker
It appears to have similarities to your issue (unable to create a broker in the topology view). It was resolved by utilizing the -d option on the mqsicreateconfigmgr command.

Did you create

broker using mqsicreatebroker, configuration manager using mqsicreateconfigmgr commands at all?

you might want to do that first before you define your logical definitions in control center.

V2.1 Administration Guide:
Quote:
-d SecurityDomainName
The name of the Windows NT security domain. If this is not specified, it defaults to the system’s local security domain.
