MQSSL can use hardware encryption facilities from ICSF. Is anyone using ICSF hardware successfully? What are the prereqs to use ICSF, esp. RACF or TopSecret definitions? _________________ Peter Smit

I think you needed z/Os 1.4 to use ICSF with MQ. We only looked at doing it with RACF. |

We have z/OS 1.4 and TopSecret 5.3 SP01 (advised by CA). Still it's not working. SSL errorcode -27. _________________ Peter Smit

Yes but the key is in ICSF, looks like the key cannot be found in ICSF (PKDS). Looks like TopSecret is adding an 'M' to the keydataset-key. open with IBM and CA. _________________ Peter Smit
